A few months ago i purchased the ioBridge module which allows you to control electronic devices over an internet connection anywhere in the world. I’m intrigued at the collaboration of the internet with real life electronic devices, and being able to write PHP and JavaScript to control and interact with objects in the real world.

The ioBridge module works effortlessly out of the box literally plug it in via Ethernet to your router and your ready to go. The module works by communicating with the ioBridge website which acts as the link between the internet and your module. you can then interact with your ioBridge by using the API and writing simple JavaScript. I’ve simply hooked my module up to a temperature probe, and an ambient light monitor. I can then monitor the temperature and light live in my study by either accessing the ioBridge website or by parsing my modules own XML feed. I’ve currently got a script that pings the feed every hour and displays the results on a chart using the Google API which you can view here.
Any preview or tutorial on how you did that via php/js?
i want it right now.
